Paris Torres & Tony Bellissimo made it to the Top 20, but did not make the cut to the Top 18. On June 11, they were sent home.
The three couples who received the fewest votes after Wednesday’s performance show were: Paris Torres and Tony Bellissimo; Asuka Kondoh and Vitolio Jeune; and Karla Garcia and Jonathan Platero. After each of the six dancers performed a solo routine, the judges eliminated Paris Torres and Tony Bellissimo from the competition. Torres, 19, is a Contemporary dancer from Issaquah, WA, and Bellissimo, 20, is a Hip Hop dancer from Buffalo, NY.
Next week, the competition continues on television’s most original dance show when the remaining 18 finalists (Kūpono Aweau, Brandon Bryant, Phillip Chbeeb, Randi Evans, Karla Garcia, Jason Glover, Vitolio Jeune, Max Kapitannikov, Evan Kasprzak, Caitlin Kinney, Asuka Kondoh, Janette Manrara, Jeanine Mason, Ade Obayomi Jonathan Platero, Kayla Radomski, Melissa Sandvig and Ashley Valerio) compete as couples once again on a two-hour performance show Wednesday, June 17 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT).

I dont think it was fair because some of us in texas didnt get to see the first 6 dance couples because of bad weather. The news stations took over the tv with weather reports till around 8 pm Wednesday night.
The dancers are all so good. Usually the first night you see some weak ones but this group all performed well.
I’m so sad for both of them, but not surprised. I knew as all of the other dancers were just hitting their routines that these two would be one of the bottom three couples. I did vote for them, but knew it was pretty hopeless. I hope we see them in other forums of dance soon.
Why don’t you let viewers watch full episodes of SYTYCD??? There are other Fox shows viewers can watch full episodes of on the Fox website, but not SYTYCD. I live in Austin, Texas and this is my favorite TV show. Last night we had a severe thunderstorm with hail, tornadoes and torrential rain, and it knocked out the satellite. We switched to the antenna, but the local Fox weatherman had pre-empted the entire second half of the show, so we weren’t able to watch the 3 couples with the lowest votes doing solos or find out who had been eliminated. Bring full episodes of the show onto your website!!! If you want loyal viewers, why frustrate us by not letting us watch episodes we may have missed???

What a wonderful year. I can’t wait to watch them dance again next week and I am so sorry to see anyone go
I just have to say this. I think Paris and Tony got a raw deal. In the first place the dance they were called upon to do was really lacking. It wasn’t their fault. It was the coreographers (sp). Second, you have to be kidding about the costumes. They were placed in a situation from which they couldn’t recover. Please be careful about this in the future. Thanks.
Is the show going to be on the website this season? Had a show of my own to do and didn’t get to watch… and I don’t tivo, so… will it be available this season?
I agree with Lisa. Fox should post episodes of SYTYCD on line so people can watch at their convenience just like every other show. I live in Austin and had the same problem of not seeing the end of the show do to bad weather. It’s very annoying.
I agree with Lisa Meacham. I live in Missouri, and we had bad weather that night, also. Two routines were pre-empted by weather maps and reports, so I visited the Fox web site to view what I had missed. Maybe Fox could post just the performances, if there is a file size/time constraint for posting the entire program. Thanks!
They got what they deserved. They both weren’t the best. Anyone could plainly see that their performance wasn’t as good as any other. Yes, Choreographers give steps, but a true dancer can bring it to life. There’s no one to blame, but themselves. America got it right in sending them home.
I agree. I have found it very frustrating that we cannot view episodes online. So, until right now, I didn’t even know who was eliminated!!
I think Fox7 the Austin affiliate needs to replay this program after their weather footage cut into it
I also missed half of the show due to the severe weather report in central Texas. I think the full episode or at least the performances should be on the website as soon as voting closes. Why not? I frequently want to re-view a particular dance or part of an episode. Hook us up, Fox!

This is a sad way to start the season for me. I love this show and wait all year for it. I am in TX too and lost my satellite because of the weather. Missed both Wed and Thurs shows and can’t watch it on your website. Terrible. So potentially these dancers lost votes. You should really get something up on your website for the loyal fans of the show, not just printed recap.
I’m soooo mad right now!! What’s going on???? This “couple” of dancers was so good!!! I loved this show but now i’m thinking about not watching it anymore…But at least Philipp is safe! He is the only hip-hop dancer in the top 18 now! Tony & Paris we love you!! Don’t be down! You rocks!!!:)
I was torn between Tony and Paris and Vitolio and Asuka – neither were as strong with partners as they are on their own – so I predicted that either couple or a combination of the four were done! All the dancers are strong this year and I worried about Jonathan – he is adorable but might not be as strong a dancer as the other guys – Missouri and Texas you missed an awesome show – I hope they replay or put on web for you to see –

I agree that having full episodes online would be really helpful, especially for these weather related issues. However – FYI for all us loyal viewers – it’s usually possible to find the individual dances on you tube. Start by searching SYTYCD Season X (whichever season you want to watch.) Good luck!
It is VERY unfair that many Texans(and others) were unable to vote….the outcome could have been very different!!!! we all know that TEXAS is the largest state in the US….and many voting opportunities come down to Texas. Maybe FOX will make it right!!!!!
Ditto everything Lisa said, episodes should be available online! Fans in Central Texas could not see the 6 dance for their lives or results. I think Season 5 dancers are going to be the best ever, but not Season 5 itself, due to Mary’s excessive screaming. I can not hit MUTE fast enough. She’s scaring the kids.
I’m just adding a +1 to the comments above. I live in Texas, and missed the whole first half of the the performance show, and said, “Oh well, I’ll watch it online.” But I couldn’t. Why don’t you post the shows online?
I really love this show and I too would love to be able to see episodes online. Bad weather is not my only problem. When I am tivo ing the episodes I miss when I’m at work my father in law always stops recording the last 15 to 20 min of the show. Its quite irritating when I sit down to watch and never see the full episode. PLEASE put them online!!!
I think you should bring back tony and paris because they lost many votes because of the bad weather here in texas. its just not fair!! or atleast put the show up on the website. i cant watch what happend and neither can many others, yall need to do something about it.
I would like to 2nd, 3rd, or 4th the suggestion of having the episodes online. I absolutely love this show, but can’t afford to buy myself a functioning TV so I rely on my occasionally-working internet to searh Youtube in order to see the dances. It would be much more convenient to have it on the FOX site – all in one place! I realize it’s a ‘reality’ series and that you don’t even put up episodes of things like American Idol….but why not? I think viewership of shows like that would increase if people can easily catch up on what they missed because of bad weather, a non-fuctioning TV, or any other reason. I for one would greatly appreciate it!

I am in Austin and missed the program just like y’all. But I was glad of the coverage the Fox 7 weather team gave and as an emergency responder I know it saved lives….. there’s more to life than TV
I am very hap wit the decision the judges have made. Paris and Tony certainly are the weakest dancers.

I agree with many of the above posts. Why don’t you make full episodes of SYTYCD available as you do for other tv shows? Our cable when out during part of one of the dances so I missed what Mary and everyone else was screaming about. I have tried to find the first episode of season 5 to no avail. In my opinion, Tony was a good choice for elimination, but Paris was not. This was another one of those raw deals, as the first elimination usually consists of an entire couple. I don’t think anyone should have been eliminated this first week of competition, but unfortunately, as always, each week, someone has got to go. It would have been better if the elimination started on the second week, instead of the first.
I really hope that Paris will come back for Season 6, and be paired with a much better partner, or soon appear on another show. She was one of the contestants that I voted for, but in my opinion, not the absolute worst, and therefore, not my choice for elimination. I hope that this will be made up for in some way. I will still watch the rest of the season, and be voting as usual.

I was so sad to see Tony and Paris go. They were my favorites from the start! All the dancers did wonderful jobs and I know someone has to get cut but it still made me sad that they took away two of my favorites!!
I seriously doubt the storm in TX and wherever else would affect the outcome.

Someone had to go first. Personally, I think the judges were overly critical of the dancers in general, including the bottom 3 couples. And I thought their reasons for choosing the two to eliminate were a little odd. Still, I didn’t see anyone obvious to eliminate from the show. The level of dancing is definitely better this year.
I agree that Fox should start putting the episodes or performances online, with Idol too ! Also, I think that they should put together a DVD of all the performance at the end of the season. I would buy that !
I came looking for last night’s results show, but unfortunately didn’t find it. So disappointing…… Also live in the Austin area and surprised to NOT find an episode online as other viewers have said.

MyDVR didn’t record the results show and I’ve been searching all over the Web trying to find the full show, not just who went home. It’s so frustrating!! Come on FOX get with the program post the full episode.Other stations have ALL their shows online, what’s up with only a few available?!?

I am equally as frustrated as some of you! I live in Texas and could not watch the first hour of Wed. nights dances!! My FAVORITE couples dances in that first hour! I don’t understand how all of these other FOX shows that I regularly watch are always so easy to be found online and yet I cant find ONE BLURP of video from the hour that I missed!! I am SO STINKIN’ MAD!! I JUST WANT TO SEE THEIR ROUTINES!!
The whole Dallas area missed the entire first hour of the show which was pre-empted with news coverage of the storm. I was surprised that the show was not rebroadcasts later that night or picked up from the beginning. So, I tried searching it on youtube and most of those links were removed for copyright infringement. That’s understandable.
BUT I was double-shocked and disappointed to see that it was not made available for viewing on this website! Fox does offer other shows online but not his one? What gives?

Both my daughter and I love SYTYCD. We live in Texas and the local Fox network had weather reports on and we couldn’t watch most of the program. Why isn’t this show on the web? I think there are enough fans to warrant the being shown on the web! We have watched this show from the beginning and even attended a performance when they were on tour! We hate to miss any part of the show and it’s one of the few we both enjoy watching together! Listen to the fans and add it to the web lineup!!
Please consider giving all dancers a fair chance when large viewer markets lose parts of the program due to interruptions such as bad weather, security emergencies, political speeches, etc. Perhaps you could invite them to return the following week and eliminate 4 instead of 2 at that time.
We also live in austin and have been trying to look for the result episode. it seems like there is a real need for posting the episodes, expecially with circumstances related to weather interuption. POST IT !!

What’s wrong with Mary Murphy? Was she high on something? Please, Fox, tell her to calm down – past years I’ve been able to put up with her but this week was AWEFUL and almost makes me not want to watch!
Paris and I were in talent with National American Miss at Nationals. I think she is a great dancer and was sad to see her go. I am glad she got on the top 20. I am also a dancer and hope to get on SYTYCD one day.

I am outraged at fox7 weather for wasting our time. I live in the direct path the storm and was made aware enough by the banners that take up half of the screen. They don’t have to cut to that weather guy during half of the show.

Fox needs to have the episodes online! I completly agree with everyone on here! Things happen (like weather…or you get a frantic call that your kids have been in a car accident..yeah it happened to me) and you miss the show…Its such a let down that you have some shows on the website but not ones that I don’t mind the kids watching with me.
If Fox doesn’t get the episodes online then those of us that missed it will have to go to other websites to get it. I would rather watch them on here personally.
Same here as far as missing over half the show due to the weather. I called the local FOX station and gave them a peice of my mind. If the wind blows a little hard here (Austin) they act as if the world is coming to an end. They could have done their weather report in two minutes and gone back to the show, but instead they kept repeating the same crap for 40 minutes. Anyway, I agree that it would be nice to be able to watch episodes online, just like I do with Fringe and Bones.
I totally agree with everyone else about being able to view episodes online. In Maryland the cable was out the entire time so we didnt get a chance to see any of it. Fox has other shows available to watch online, why not SYTYCD??
I am glad that it was Tony who went home. I liked him, but not his dance. It drove me crazy that he kept sticking out his tongue during his performance.
I sympathize with the issue of not being able to view the episode online. I even concede that the loss of such a populated state as Texas could make a statistical difference… especially *if* people eliminated were from Texas, or even geographically close to Texas. However the odds are very good in this case that the votes cast in Texas would have largely reflected the votes cast in the rest of the U.S.
Is there some reason to believe that Texas would have overwhelmingly voted for Tony and Paris?
I thought that I would let everyone know that the dances are available on YouTube. A user names SYTYCD5video has all of them for the Top 20. I think FOX should put them on here though too. I wished liked them both too, but not their dance. Sorry to see them go.
I DID get a short reply from FOX about streaming the episodes online. They said it was because of music copyright issues. Huh… that doesn’t seem to stop any of the other live-performance reality shows!!
I live in Austin too and I didn’t see the results on Thursday (although I understand that a tornado warning is important), but having at least the dances online would be nice. And everyone needs to relax about the voting situation. Fox cannot keep dancers an extra week just because some viewers didn’t get to them dance. It won’t make that much of a difference…get over it!!
I’m sorry all of you Tony and Paris fans but they were the weakest dancers. I was completely shocked when Tony went all the way threw to Vegas. Paris just does not hold her own either. She does not give her all nor does she dance to her fullest potential. They were the weakest and should have gone home. America got it right this week. Good luck to both of them.

But the news/weather did put SYTYCD Wednesday’s show on at the very end and I did get to see 3 dances and then the short clips for review.
Just from that short clip of Paris and Tony’s dance I told everyone that they were my pick of who’s going home. You can tell instantly because she was not hitting it hard and had no pop/lock effect like she needed to…and therefore made that one move look where she went backwards look just ‘blah’ boring. I thought Tony was good but nothing special either which he should have with hip hop being his forte’. So yes, I think they deserved to go home.
The weather is important, however, Fox could have put out a banner announcing that the show could be seen online!! They want us to watch and get involved – so give us the whole show!!

I also vote to have full episodes available online. Seriously, what do you do when the weather guy won’t shut up? I miss my favorite show! One of the only reasons I turn on the television is for SYTYCD! It’s the only reason I am paying for HD Channels!
Yes, the weather in Texas was dangerous that night. The power went out, so I lost 4 more minutes of the Fox 7 weather guy on my recorder and never learned who was eliminated until I came to this site. A few thoughts: a) why couldn’t our affiliates replay the episode in its entirety at, say, 2:00 AM a day later? Should we of central Texas take this up with Fox 7? b) to the first responder who shamed us for complaining, there’s more than one television station in central Texas. I was recording SYTYCD and listening to the NBC affiliate’s weatherman from the safety of my closet until the power went out, at which time I switched to a weather radio. Yours is not really a useful argument. c) why does Fox prefer to have bootlegged snippets of the show all over the internet to having their own video on their official website? Does anyone understand this? d) Finally, this season is awesome, and I am screaming at home just like Mary in her judge’s seat!

I really believe that Paris should of stayed! The Cha-Cha girl did not do a great solo to save her life! Paris had great form! she should come back.
I was disappointed to not see the 3 couples do their solo’s to be saved from elimination due to bad weather in Austin that night. I do wish this website would let us have the ability to watch the shows if we mss them for any reason.
I also want to inform everyone that is complaining for not being able to vote due to bad weather during the solo’s that WE DO NOT GET TO VOTE…this is the JUDGES time to decide who stays or goes!! We only get to vote on the Wednesday night show to determine the bottom 3 couples so their was no unfairness in the elimination! That’s all!
I was dumbfounded by Tony’s performance of this hip hop routine, like “wow… HE’s a hiphop guy?!?…ouch.” Nothing he does is done with conviction when he dances, he is far too easygoing, like some relatively “good” dancer in some random club, who really doesn’t give a sh*t, but he makes it look good anyway, tho we all know he doesn’t give a sh*t… where was his hunger for it? Certainly it was not on the dancefloor.
I thought Paris had done a distinctly good job of keeping up the energy, even tho it was clear she had no idea what she was doing. She definately hit it harder than he did that night… fo’sho.
I am sorry but I totally disagree with the judges decision this week. I thought Carla and Jonathan should have been sent home rather than Paris and Tony.
Reason #1 Carla’s solo was WEAK. f you go back and look at it she is clearly struggling with certain sections. Paris was not GREAT but she was definitely better
Reason#2 Nigel clearly said Jonathan you’re dancing wasn’t great but gymnastics were. Ummm is this also So you think can do gymnastics? Tony wasn’t perfect but he was better than Jonathan!

I’m also in Austin, TX. I missed the second half of the elimination episode and WHY ON EARTH aren’t there full episodes on here?? I’m so frustrated by that. Fox, I know there are probably licensing issues with showing the show on here, but why isn’t there something that can be done about those of us who missed the show because of weather?? I mean, isn’t that your network, too, the people talking through my show? BTW the weather man didn’t really need to be on in the first place. It was raining and hailing. Like we don’t already know what that is in TX. Anyway, PLEASE can we see this episode again??

It happened here in Iowa tonight. I saw only the first 4 couples dance and then Fox Weather took over and I missed the rest. There was information about being re-directed to “Fox on Demand”, but the show isn’t available on “Fox on Demand”.
I’m supposed to be voting right now and cannot because FOX sucks with the whole weather thing. Just put the shows on the internet and let the weather junkies watch the super-duper-doplar-radar-BS.
What a farce tonight!!! Max was awesome in his solo and Kupono didn’t do anything. You are suppose to be judges, so judge their performance, not what you think they might do! Tell Lil c to throw his dictionary away. We all know by now, he can read. Nobody is writing about his command of the English language. Also, I think he is racist and I am not alone. If you want America to vote, let them vote without nudging them in the direction you want them to go. Don’t even critique on Wednesday, just let us vote. Then on Thursday you can judge and pick who is best, not who you want to be best. You only get one shot to get it right when you are in the bottom and if you blow it,… oh well. Everybody can’t be a model and this is not a beauty contest for God’s sake. This is SYTYCD not America’s next pretty face! You have evolved in the wrong direction from last year.
I don’t understand why Max was eliminated. Kupono is a good dancer, but the judges said his dance lacked substance. Max and Kayla nailed all their dances. Just did not make any sense!
I think at this point, and in this season, SOMEONE has to go home…yes, I too feel disappointed when people have to go, but the season is just beginning, and they’re all so good, it’s going to suck to see people go every week, but hopefully the show will open some doors for people…? I will just enjoy every Wednesday as it comes!

Good Lord, why so much face time for Cat Deely???? And fix her “left turn” nose too and since she can’t walk in those sky high heels why not try some 3″ or lower heels?? Doesn’t she tower over all contestants enough…Just show us more dancing and less Miss wonderful…she’s almost as bad as that God forsaking screeching Mary…Come on Nigel…you’ld think they were running the show.

Maybe, but i’m sceptic. Your voice is graceful, but the tournament is quite hards as i see.
