When do the tickets for the 09 tour go on sale??
I think for Randi and Evan good job onj both of the performances During the partner exchange Evan won’t feel as nerves as he did with Randi. Which is a good thing for the partner exchange i’m sticking with Randi on this.
Is there a more annoying voice in the industry than that lady judge? I think I would rather listen to continual finger nails on a chalkboard than this lady. Please spare us!
I love the show and I enjoyed the dance tours I’ve been to but I had to travel quite far to see them. How come there are no shows in NYC? NYC is a huge market with a world famous arena and there are lots of fans who would like to see the tour in NYC. Make it happen, Nigel.

Why is the tour not coming to Orange County???!! It did last year. I am so disappointed.
I didn’t think I’d love this season as much as I did last years, and although they’re still my favorite to date, I have to say that I’m just as excited to go see the tour this year as I was last. The Top 10 are going to give us a lot to look forward to, and I just don’t know how I’m going to wait until October! Thank Goodness for the new fall season to help tide me over!
I have been a SYTYCD fan for a couple years now and I was so excited to see that they’re coming to St Louis! The bad news? PLEASE not on Halloween! I have kids I have to take trick or treating!!! I even got my husband to agree to go with me! I’m sure lots won’t be able to attend due to it being Halloween!
Maybe they could bump the schedule dates? I see they have Oct 29th open? Maybe they could perform somewhere that day and have the 31st off instead?

We love watching the show! We really enjoyed the tour performance in Phoenix last year and are disappointed that the tour won’t be coming to Phoenix this year.

WHAT?!?!? Your not going to Denver, when one of the top performers comes from it’s closest suburb!!!!! Colorado Springs is too far to travel, I hope you rethink this! We have been behind Kayla from the auditions in Denver, and now she won’t even get to show us her moves live.
I hope that there’s a hole in the schedule between LA and San Diego because the producers are still trying to finalize a visit to the Honda Center for all of us Orange County fans.

there is only one Canadian stop and it is on a Tuesday night. That means that those of us who have to travel would have to take several days off work. Last year’s show was the best show I have ever experienced and I have been to hundreds of shows over the years. Please consider adding another Canadian city - Ottawa, Montreal and put it on a weekend please. Thanks for all you do - this show makes a difference in people’s lives.

There’s no date for ANYWHERE in Pennsylvania…No Philadelphia, No Reading…NOTHING in PA - My 8 year old daughter is a HUGE fan and she was disappointed last year because we couldn’t go. Now, it’s not even an option.

Can’t get the field on ‘My Community’ to accept a comment but I have to leave one regarding the “Mia Addiction Dance”. I DVR’d the episode from last night and I am just now viewing the show. I cannot begin to describe the emotions that this piece evoked from me. I have been a loyal fan of SYTYCD since Season 1 and nothing tops this dance. Wow!! I immediately noticed tears streaming down my face. A very innate reaction, so much so that I reacted as if that was the only emotion appropriate. I was so intrigued in the dance that I didn’t think about crying … it just happened!! I can barely find words to replace the feelings and emotions that this dance brought to me. THANK YOU, just barely scratches the surface. WONDERFUL, BRILLIANT, THANK YOU!!

Some people slay me. Oh no, I have to travel a whole hour or two! Please — a couple of years ago we drove from Idaho to Arizona for the tour! Last year we only drove 3 hrs to SLC and the people who sat next to us had driven from Colorado. It is so worth the trips, people. We will be there. Can’t wait!

I’m really surprised this tour isn’t coming to Canada. You should try to stop by a few key Canadian cities (Vancouver, Edmonton/Calgary, Winnipeg, Toronto, Montreal and to the East Coast). I’m sure you’d sell just as many tickets at any of those locations.

What?? Rhonda in my opinion this is the best season, alll of those people are amazing but this season i find that i am always like no i don’t want them to go home and that i loved the entire top 20 where in past years there have always been people that i didn’t like and i was hoping they got home

Newark isn’t that far from NYC at all. If you go to Penn Station, just hop on the train to Newark. Its a 15 min train ride and then like a 5 min walk from the train station to the Prudential Center.

Why doesn’t the tour come to Buffalo or Rochester NY? I’m a part-time teacher with multiple jobs, and there is no way I can get away during the week, let alone travel. We are huge fans here. Please come to other places in NY! Maybe add more dates?!

I live in Nashville and last year I went to atlanta to see the tour! It was soo worth the drive, but since this year I can’t go to ATL on a school night I’ll have to go all the way to St. Louis! Wish they were coming to nashville!!!
The tour should definitely come to Pittsburgh, PA! It was amazing and sold out last year, and it will be sold out again if the tour returns! PLEASE COME TO PITTSBURGH!

Can’t tell you all how happy I am that you all have decided to let Phillip and Kaitlin go on the tour! Phillip is such a unique and gifted dancer and he is so amazing to watch that the tour will be made whole with him there. Kaitlin in adorable and beautiful to watch and she will be a wonderful addition to the tour! I want to see her and Jason’s Baliwood again please!!

I am so excited to see the next chapter of SYTYCD. The top 10 performers are a group of amazing entertainers full of talent, experience, love and dedication. The passion that these dancers have is felt by the audience and it make us, as viewers want to keep watching. This season has turned out to be every exciting. I’m on the edge of my couch every week and will return every year to see who America will choose as their favorite Dancer. Keep up all the hard work, it is not going unnoticed.

I don’t see how you can pass straight through Louisiana…going from Florida to Texas…and not stop!!! You even pass through Baton Rouge! What a great place to have a show! Come on and stop for us!

I can’t believe people are complaining about driving 3-6 hours to see a live show. At least you don’t have to fly from Alaska to Washington!! Get over it and be happy you have a REAL choice!! If the show has been in your town before, quit whining, changing cities every couple years gives other people a chance to see these incredible dancers.
There is no venue within a 6-7 hour drive for us to go to a show.
Once we travelled to Atlanta, then to Cincinatti, again no Nashville, Louisville or anywhere closer!!! I have two pregnant daughters who love the show, but this year we won’t be able to drive that far to attend. We are very sad! Please try to schedule something closer to the KY/TN area in the future.
Ok guys, reality check! You are merely, at the most, a few hours drive from the shows on tour. Those of us in AK and HI are that AND a 4 hour flight minimum (plus lots of $$ in airfare, car rental and hotel) away - stop whining and just get in your car and drive to the most AMAZING show you’ll be privileged to see. It will take me at least a day to get there by plane and car, but I’ll be there!
I feel as though Pittsburgh had a great turn out last year. I do not fully understand why they cut PA out entirely and am very disappointed.

Wow, from reading all of the comments it sounds like you are are very high demand. I understand why, I went to your concert in Detroit the season before last and it was “truly the best”! I wanted to go last year, but was unable. I definitely do not want to miss this years. Especially with this top 10, they are GREAT!
I would like to add another request to your long list. Will you please consider adding Grand Rapids, MI. After reading some of the other large cities you are not going to, I am not sure this request will help. But it is worth a try

Why did you drop Pittsburgh this year? Not a single show in the entire state of PA??? That is quite unfair! You are willing to put up shows even in Toledo, OH but not Pgh? Doesnt make sense to me. Last year the Pgh city traffic came to a standstill due to the extra traffic during your show. So I really thought you guys would be back. I am extremely disappointed. Especially since I love so many of this season’s dancers. Please consider adding a city in PA to your list. Please, please please….

All of you are requesting the show to come to your city .. when the show has been in your city for 2+ years! Most of you have already had the amazing opportunity to see the tour. We all love the show here in Canada, but have no opportunity to see it. Only people residing near or in Toronto are able to. The other major cities will never be able to experience the tour! Please add some Canadian tour dates next year!

American Idol *JUST* added a tour date in Vancouver (a year late I’ve gotta say… I wanted to see David Cook, Michael Johns et al the most)… I was hoping SYTYCD would do the same.

Why are you not coming back anywhere near Rochester NY ????? Two years in a row they came and were packed. Last year came in the area but not super close and this year we get only Long Island. Very disappointing, this is a very strong dance area!!!!!!!
you couldn’t have more devoted sytycd fans than the ones in rochester, ny. we went to the tour show here in rochester the couple years it came and have been extremely disappointed that we’ve been forced to go without it since then. we are even willing to travel to see it, but it isn’t coming anywhere near the western ny area. buffalo, syracuse or even albany would be ok. it just isn’t fair. please come back! rochester would be the most ideal place!!!

We are very disappointed that you are not coming to the Pittsburgh or Cleveland area. We have been to 3 of the tour performances and look forward to the tour each year. This year the travel is to far to see this great show.
This is CRAZY that one of the biggest states in the US doesn’t even have a tour date! Why no PA this year? I would even be happy if it went back to Cleveland. I don’t mind driving to a show but Columbus and TOLEDO OH? Especially without even a PA venue? Come on. I know Mary is from OH but those 2 cities so close together?! Pittsburgh is good for West NY, West PA, East OH, WV, MD, Del, etc. Come back to Pittsburgh!
I went to see the tour in Pensacola last season and it was amazing! I am enjoying this season but liked last one the best!!!! I miss my Mark!!!! But, you left off the whole Gulf coast this year. I understand why you don’t go to the same cities twices but I would drive pretty much anywhere on the gulf coast to see the show. So what about the Florida panhandle, Mississippi, or Louisianna? After the last few years the Gulf coast deserves some breaks!!!!
Iabsolutely LOVE this show. I watch it religiously every Wednesday and Thursday. BUT I am very dissappointed in whom ever set up the tour in the fall. NYC is not the only city in New York. What about any tour dates in western NY, such as Rochester, Buffalo, or Syracuse? I was planning on going but now won’t be able to because there NO dates near me.

I am a huge fan of So You Think You Can Dance, and knowing that Kupono has made the top 10, I think the tour should come to Hawaii. I would also like to see Kayla perform live along with Kupono too. If Hawaii gets added to the tour guide, I would go to the concert for sure.
I’m so upset! The tour is not coming anywhere even close to Pittsburgh. They were here last year and I believe it sold out. I was looking forward to going again for this season. This sucks!!

Also, as some folks have pointed out many times organizations will rotate cities so that more people will have a shot of attending. I remember two or three years ago, when I could have last gone there was nothing in the Texas area. I am very thankful that there is one near Dallas. I’ll still have a 3 hour drive, but at least I have a chance of going this year.

I agree that the show should come to Hawaii. We have had two dancers from Hawaii in the last two top 10s. If Hawaii can have large broadway productions tour here, why not SYTYCD? Although we are a small state, the market here is very supportive, especially if Mark and Pono were on the bill. Please consider adding a Hawaii tour date!!!

The dates and venues listed shows Omaha, NE 11/3, however the ticketmaster website shows no event listed for NE and the Qwest Center shows no event scheduled. The Chicago show was finally posted on Ticketmaster…. BUT….. there’s no presale listed for that one, while there is (Friday) for most other cities on the tour. Does anyone know if there will be a presale on Friday for Chicago, and if not - why?
I, too, am disappointed at the venues for this tour. No stops in Louisiana, Mississippi, or Alabama. I feel like a large portion of the South was ignored.

I just want to thank you for bringing a show like So You Think You Can Dance to the airwaves. I have only been watching for a couple of seasons and as a non-dancing viewer, it has stolen my heart. I especially felt the recent episode on Wednesday 7/22/09 with the beautiful and emotional piece on breast cancer. I applaud the courage it takes for a network show to pay tribute to the subjects that others wouldn’t be able to portray proper respect to. The piece danced about breast cancer was unbelievable and without debate amazing in every way. The combination of outstanding choreography, pristine dancing and the accompanying and equally sentimental and emotional commentary by the judging takes a show like So You Think You Can Dance to an unattainable level of connection and emotion. Thank you for bringing to attention and hopefully action the issues that affect so many, in not only America, but the entire world. This show is unique in the emotion and cause it creates in all of us viewers through not only it’s words, but it’s actions and devotion. Television would not be the same without it. Thank you.
Like many other fans on the site I am dismayed as to the cities for the tour this fall. I think many states got slighted on the number of cities that are on the schedule. I see Texas and Florida got 3 dates each and California got 5 dates. Then there are other states with 1 or NONE. I understand you can’t go everywhere we would like you to be but I wonder why 5 dates in California and none in other areas.
On other fans comments about not coming to NYC. How can you possibly be complaining? They are at least coming somewhere really close(or did you not see the date in Long Island at Nassau Colliseum!)

I recently was diagnosed with breast cancer and began chemo last week. Today was a rough day- but I have held off taking my medicine to watch the show. I am so glad I did. The piece on breast cancer depicted exactly how I and those around me are feeling and dealing with this diagnosis There are so many in different stages of this disease and to have this danced so elegantly was amazing. Thank you for sharing this talent . I can now take my meds and go to sleep.
I am so disappointed that the tour isn’t coming anywhere near Albany NY? Whats the closest place the tour is going? I am so excited about this season, I think the dancers are more talented collectively than they have ever been on this show, and I would LOVE to see them live!
I think there should be different locations for the tour! Last year and this year–the only location for North Carolina was Charlotte. That is unfortunately the closest to where I am. For future tours, could other cities be considered? For instance, Raleigh, NC would be a good place for the tour to stop in NC. It is a big city like Charlotte and it is in the middle of the state–easier for anyone to get to on this side of the US.

Maybe because 38 million people live in California? Get a clue, the promoter picks stops based on predicted attendance, not to visit every state in the country.

If you guys check Ticketmaster, the auctions are up and guess what…the first 9 rows in C (the center section) are in the auction, at least in Tampa. That means when we go to buy tickets either online or at the venue, those first 9 rows are already unavailable. This is awful. I hope they don’t sell any of them, so they can be put back in circulation b/4 the first concert date. This gets worse every year. Does anyone know who puts these tickets up - is it TM, a promoter or a broker? The presale is tomorrow, so someone has an “in” b/4 all of us. The funny thing is that the first three rows or so are not really that good because if the stage is as high as it was when we had those seats for Season 3, you couldn’t see the dancers feet at all. We sat in row three and weren’t happy at all with our seats because of the height of the stage. Possibly it is better farther back.
In response to the gentleman commenting on my message, I have a clue. If what you are saying is true then my state of New York, which has a population of almost 20 million people, should have more tour dates. Right? Especially since the venues when they have come to this fair state in past years have been sold out!!! Oh and by the way California has a population of 35.5 million people.

Sad to see the best dancer of the season voted out: Jeanette. Sad to see the production of the show let the breast cancer routine compete in an elimination show. Come on guys, this is a “for sure vote”. In this case people voted for the good cause that it is the fight against breast cancer, not for the real talent of the competitors. Maybe something to think about for future seasons. Also, I strongly believe the American public should not decide on who stays and who goes. It’s OK to use the public vote to find who the button 2 dancers are but it should be the judges deciding and saying the last word. Very, very disappointed about today’s results
I agree with the auction floor seating. Don’t buy them!! I did last year and was so disappointed. Center section, 6 rows back and I couldn’t see. The stage was high and so were the heads in front of me. A big waste of ALOT of money. If floor seats are available during pre-sale, I won’t be buying them even at the regular price.
Hello does anyone know if the tour includes new routines our does it consist predominantly of what we have already seen on the show?
I would like you to consider doing an in-depth review of the first group dance on Wednesday, 4/22/09 - - with all the LED lights. Many of us would love to know what kinds of lights were used and be able to see that group dance again. A small excerpt was included in the Thursday elimination show, and I thank you for that, but I thought it was so special and unique - - would love to find that sequence available on-demand through Comcast or on HULU or Fancast some day. Thanks.

I use to take modern dance when I was young, and this show lets me feel those emotions all over again. I sure do miss dance, just wish my body would cooperate.
Watch (and wait) for the show every week. Banter back and forth with a friend about the results. Sorry to see Janettte go. She was so talented. I agree with some others that the judges should have a vote in the final 10, and not just leave it up to the public.
Really wish you would extend the tour and PLEASE come to Pittsburgh, PA. It has a remarkable cultural arts district and wonderful venues for the show. One of the country’s best.

I think both of the eliminations last night were wrong. I think it should of been Melissa and Evan going home. Don’t get me wrong I loved the breast cancer number. It was great, BUT the first number her and Ade did wasn’t strong enough to stay. The breast cancer number played to Melissa’s strength in ballet. In their first number she seemed awkward and very unsure. And as for Evan I like him but Jason is a much stronger versatile dancer. I definately think America got it wrong last night. I agree with one of the previous posters. I think America’s votes should be used to pick the bottom 2 but I think the judges should decide who of those 2 should go home. Otherwise what is the point in having judges after it gets to 10 dancers?
While I realize SYTYCD is now wildly popular, I miss the 1st tour where they played smaller venues like the Paramount Theatre in Oakland.
Sorry, seeing the dancers at the HP Pavilion in San Jose is just *not* the same kind of experience. I’d rather just watch it on TV.
The outfit that Kayla wore in the last dance wednesday night is my school uniform just a little altered LOL. The material is exactly the same and the shirt and tie are the same, before the alterations of course. Nice to see my boring school uniform can transform into something cute LOL

Needless to say, I love the show….dancers, choreographers (AMAZING choreography!!!), judges, host, etc. However, you could loose the teenage female stageside props. Just a suggestion : )
Been going from venue to venue around the NYC area trying to find floor seats. They are all now on sale at scalper sites for at least 200 bucks each! How unfair is that to the average fan!

Southern Idaho loves SYTYCD and American Idol. Why are we constantly slighted? We have great venues in the Treasure Vallley (Boise area). When Idol came 2 years ago, the crowd was huge and appreciative! Please, don’t forget the fans in the “lesser” states ( We aren’t a “lesser state,” but it seems others consider us so.)

you’d think that the fact that they’d had a top 20 dancer from hawaii for the past 2 seasons would encourage them to tour to hawaii. apparently not. i wish they would though, cuz i’d love to watch it, especially this season. =[ i think they should tour to each contestants’ home town so their friends and family can watch but don’t hafta pay a fortune, like flying from hawaii to anywhere else is ridiculously expensive.

OMG Evan is good I get tired of the judges pushing for there favorites I can see that they are just trying to give constructive feedback but I think there is an agenda and I hope Evan wins he deserves it I just think with them he can’t do anything right. He did his audtion and spiced it up and got tore up about it but yet brandon did his a week or so ago and apparently it was brilliant sounds unfair.
I have an issue. I am a huge fan and was ready to buy tickets for the Las Vegas show at exactly 10 am. I was saddened to see that the arena did not post tickets for sale until 10:30am. But when I checked at 10:05 am multiple ticket wholesalers DID have tickets for sale. I hope SYTYCD in the future allows everyone to have an equal opportunity to buy good tickets.
I was so disappointed last night to hear the judges tear Evan up. I don’t think Evan is the “best”, however, I was insulted with the judges ripping Evan apart. You know….he steps up to ANY plate that is presented to him. The performance with Brandon last night was so ethnically strong, and to expect Evan to perform in character with that piece was completely out of line. Given an audition to dance that piece, Evan would not be placed in that role. So, with that said, Evan did an amazing job given what he is. Also, a couple of weeks ago he was given another piece with the three black dancers in a ethnic piece. He stood out like a sore thumb….BUT HE DID IT! and he did it well. In closing, I was so disappointed last night I didn’t even vote because I found myself feeling sorry for Evan and wanted to vote for him out of pity not because he is the best dancer. Shame on you judges!

you should never leave the finals up to the public….because they are picking their favorite,not because of their dancing talent but because they think that person is cute or adorable….PLEASE!…GIVE ME A BREAK!…..EVAN???? 3rd place ?, ahead of Kayla?….are you freakin’ kiddin me????…..top three should have been,in this order,Brandon 1st,because of his powerful dancing abilities…2nd and third is a toss-up between Kayla and Jeanine….personnally i think it should be Kayla for her week to week performances…pure!, not that Jeanine is any less a dancer, but she just didn’t have the sharp, crisp,body movements….personality should be kept out of the deciding votes….I’m not going too pay big bucks to see someones personality, I’m there to see someone blow me away with their dancing….so you guys got it wrong….If anyone should pick the finalists it should by all means the pros who,i hope, can keep the personalities out of it….Who cares if they are a rats ass…if they can get the hair on my neck to stand…..that’s dancing….and as far as i’m concerned Evan just didn’t do it…I don’t care that he’s a nice guy….I’m not paying too see his nice guy personna…So please , next season don’t leave it up to the moron masses and step up to the plate and pick next years winner for their talent and not their smile!!!!…p.s. make a boy and girl winner not just one….that’s what everyone says that i spoke to…

I can’t believe I wasted a summer for Jeanine. This used to be my favorite show but I think that Nigel manipulated the vote and that saddens me. It should be America’s favorite dancer not Nigel’s or that he thinks a female winner would be good for the show. I don’t trust this show anymore and that is a shame because the dancers were amazing. Benji is still my all-time favorite!
I was very dissappointed on this choice made tonight. I think that Brandon was ten times better than Jeanine or whatever the girl name is. The solo performnce was ok that jeanine di but it was not great. Brandon was AWESOME. Like M
Why is it that Canada always gets shafted when it comes to any musical or dance performances originating in the US? We rarely get the chance to experience some of the best talents in the world. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE include more Canadian dates than just Toronto for Season Six. We’ll pay!

I personally get tired of seeing the dancers doing solos every week once it gets down to the top ten. So many of the solos all contain the same moves, rolling all over the floor, kicking around the legs, etc. etc. Not to minimize the efforts the solos take, but seeing partnered dancing is so much more entertaining and enjoyable. Once the judging comes down to viewer’s voting, I would like to see less solos and more partnering.
What has happened with the south not being scheduled? memphis, tn, little rock, ar? what’s up? the idol tours were near sell outs here.

I’m so pleased with the results! I kinda wish Melissa would have been in the top three because she was my fave, but Janine is an amazingly talented young lady and I wish her all the best. I think the order of the top 3 was perfect - Brandon is awesome, and I just love Evan because he is such a great show dancer! We are involved in community theatre, so to see that kind of dancing on the show was a real treat! I’m sure Broadway will be banging his door down!! Great job to everybody and I am especially glad we got a chance to see some of the dances again - like Melissa and Ade!
My only complaint is that I wish the tour would come a little further down south towards Alabama, Louisiana, or the Mississippi Gulf Coast!!
It suprised me that there aren’t many tour dates in the South. No Atlanta, Birmingham, Nashville, New Orleans, etc… Bring the tour farther South next year!! I’ve been an avid fan since the first season and would LOVE to watch the tour!
I have been watching this show since it started and I Love it! But I must compliment the show, and the judges for doing such a spectacular job in selecting the participants this year! Each dancer grabbed me each show and I did not want to see any of them leave. Great show this season! Although I liked Jeanne I thought Brandon who suffered the abuse from Ms. Micheals and Lil C in the beginning should have been the winner this year. I don’t see why you don’t select a male and female. Also last year Joshua won and you gave Katie (who was good also) 50k, what happened to Brandon’s 50k he deserved it as much as Katie?
Again, great show and I would love to as well as a group of my friends here in Denver would like to see the show. We don’t want to drive all the way down to Colorado Springs and back. It was here in the past years I hope more shows are being added to the schedule. Looking forward to the fall season!!!
It would be nice if you would bring the tour to Little Rock, AR. I and my friends are big fans of the show and would love to see the dancers in person.

I dont know why all you Americans complain so much about a measly 2 or even 5 hour drive to see a show!!! I live in Northern Canada, 5 hours from the closest large city, and I am flying to the Nevada just to see the show!!! Life is what you make it people….if you love the show so much, make an effort!!

I just got home from an awesome show in Charlotte, NC. The performers were amazing, but there was a huge elephant in the room, that no one on stage was addressing…where was Janette? Could this be a repeat of SYTYCD Season 3 Charlotte Tour date, when Lacie didn’t show? Are you kidding me?
Janette was my favorite dancer during season 5 and when she met an early demise, me (along with many of my friends who love the show) found ourselves saying, “How?” Janette was the most amazing performer I have ever seen. She was amazing. The whole night I kept hoping…maybe she will appear during the Pitbull number, splashing around and the crowd would go wild, or maybe she would come out in her little mime costume and perform the Wade Robson routine? But my fears were confirmed at the end of the show, yes the very end, when they said “Janette is on the tour bus, sick and she couldn’t be with us tonight.” Sigh…so many people that surrounded us during the show were vocalizing their disappointment. Janette if you are listening, we hope you get better soon. You were 90% of the reason I wanted to see the tour. You are amazing! I love all the other dancers too but I truly connected with your passion and talent. I hope for the sake of others who love you that you get better soon, so they can enjoy your talent on tour.
